Wonderful images of fruit and flowers, including apples (3); pears (10); plums (8); cherries (6); apricot (1); mulberry (1); peach (3); quince or pear (2); quince (1); grapes (6); currants (3); raspberries (5); dewberry (1); mulberry (1) gooseberry (2); strawberry (2). Also flowers and shrubs: roses (18); clematis (2); plus 23 other flowers, flowering shrubs, and foliage plants (such as honeysuckle, wisteria, hydrangea, spirea, forsythia, and more); and five trees (weeping birch, mountain ash, willow, cut-leaf maple, beech). Besides being lovely bright lithographs, it is also interesting to see how tastes change over the years. Try finding mulberries, dewberries or gooseberries in most supermarkets! Provenance: From the Estate of Kenneth Erwin, Portland, Michigan Condition: Appears to be missing the first few pages. We would expect far more than three apples. They should equal or exceed the pears. And nothing has a date. The front board is loose, boards overall are heavily worn around the edges. Minor water spots.
