Murphy and C-E Berndt (see note), contemporary sheep, worn, with joints cracked and some surface loss to spine and corners, 12mo (Qty: 1) Provenance: Claudia Quigley Murphy (1863-1941) was an American journalist and supporter of the women's suffrage movement, who wrote a number of books relating to gastronomy, including Bread - The Vital Food, A Collation of Cakes Yesterday and Today, and The History of the Art of Tablesetting, all published in the 1920s.
