Bernheimer: "Shown the author by the owner E.J.B., November 20, 1942, R.F.," also inscribed by Louis Mertins (California Frost collector, who wrote two books about the poet): "This copy I used to review the book for the Los Angeles Times Book Review section, May 1942..."; Come In and Other Poems [1943], original cloth, dust jacket , ADVANCE REVIEW COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION with publisher's printed slip tipped in at front, INSCRIBED BY FROST on front free endpaper: "To Earle Bernheimer from Robert Frost, when together at the opening of the Conference at Breadloaf, August 16, 1943," illustrated; A Masque of Reason [1945], original plain wrappers, folded over, the front wrapper inscribed by Earle J. Bernheimer , PAGE PROOFS OF THE FIRST EDITION, printed on yellow paper, cut down, pasted to octavo-size sheets of paper, but most of the page proofs have come loose, INSCRIBED BY FROST to Bernheimer on the title-page: "Robert to Earle, January 1945," with a correction by Frost on the half-title, and with an envelope sending this proof to Bernheimer addressed by Frost; all New York: Holt, together 3 vols., black cloth slipcases , the first two in fine condition.
