Gilt brass serpentine form case with corner columns, hinged handle, beveled glass on the front, rear door and top exposing the escapement, sides and front have hand painted porcelain panels with a winged and rococo filigree having gilt enamel highlights, panels are signed "Devant"; front panel has a 2 in dial signed "Manoan Rhodes & Sons Ltd., Paris". French brass spring driven movement signed "E.M. & Co." in an oval (E. Maurice & Co.) and "French Make", has an platform lever escapement, half hour strike on a coiled gong with hour repeater button on top of the case. Excellent condition, running and striking. 6 in. high x 3.75 in. wide x 3.25 in. deep. Weight: 4 lbs.
