His works are part of the collections of the Universalmuseum Joanneum, the Belvedere, the Brukenthal National Museum, and the National Gallery in Prague. The painting depicts the Virgin Mary as a child standing between her parents St. Joachim and St. Anne. Her mother sits on a chair and gently embraces her daughter with a loving gaze. St. Joachim stands on the opposite side, leaning against a pillar with a book. The Virgin Mary gazes devotedly towards the heavens. The colors are strong, but also very delicate and unobtrusive, while artist's great attention to detail is apparent.
