Harriot Sumner Curtis (1881–1974) American golf champion and an early participant in the sport of skiing. In 1904, Harriot was a co-winner of the Medal given to the golfer who shoots the lowest score in qualifying rounds at the U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Championship. She won the Championship in 1906 at Brae Burn. In 1908, Harriot set a record with the lowest score at the U.S. Championship but lost in the second round. The Ardsley County Club scorecard also represents an early piece of American golf ephemera. Ardsley opened in 1895. Lot Amendments Condition: Fine. Item number: 186586
