first American edition, signed by A.A.Milne, H.Frazer-Simon and ‘Billy Moon ’, on the title page, with an A.L.s. to Mrs Lamberton-Becker from Ernest H.Shepard pasted to the verso of the page opposite the title, with a postcard written by ‘Bill Moon ’ taped to the dedication page, a further printed portrait of A.A.Milne, Christopher Robin and Pooh by Sid Hydeman is pasted to the front free endpaper and a newspaper-clipped portrait of Milne by his son, further newspaper clipping to the rear endpaper, illustrations, original cloth backed boards, front hinge splitting at head, paper label, dust-jacket frayed and worn with some loss, 4to, New York , 1925.
