FOUR WHITE PAINTED WARE AND THREE WHITE SLIP WARE CYPRIOT VESSELS MIDDLE CYPRIOT CIRCA 1800-1650 B.C., AND LATE CYPRIOT 1650-1450 B.C. A Middle Cypriot White Painted ware jar, the rounded body with flattened base, two small vertical ring handles, decorated in orange-brown with chequerboard and wavy line motif, 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; a jug with round base, beak spout and two pierced lugs, decorated with lattice bands, 8¼ in. (21 cm.) high; a shallow bowl with horizontal handle and trough-spout decorated with groups of four wavy lines, 10 in. (25.5 cm.) wide max.; a hemispherical bowl with everted rim and handle, decorated with wavy lines and cross-hatched triangles, all Middle Cypriot 1800-1650 B.C.; and three Late Cypriot White Slip ware 'milk bowls' with wishbone handles, decorated with ladder and cross-hatched lozenge motifs, 1650-1450 B.C., 7¾ in.
