II-IV with cover title, War Insignia Stamp Album. Housed together in two-part cardboard box decorated with duplicate insignia stamps. Shortly after the United States entered World War II, Disney artists and artists from other studios illustrated various combat insignia for the US Military. The stamps incorporated the well-known Disney characters of the time (Dumbo, Baby Pegasus, Little Hiawatha, Donald Duck, Jiminy Cricket, Goofy, Pluto) as well as Woody Woodpecker (Walter Lantz), Felix the Cat (Pat Sullivan), Jiggs of "Bringing Up Father" (George McManus), and other characters by well-known artists. Rare complete set of 4 albums, with all stamps present.
