B) 420 by 285 mm; 16½ by 11¼ in. (2)Condition reportA) Hinge mounted to a modern mount. There are old repairs and areas where the drawing has been made up to the upper left corner and upper edge. There are old repaired tears to the four edges as one would expect from a sheet of this size. The sheet has been laid down on to a japan paper backing. There are minor scattered stains throughout, including two light brown stains to the figures left leg. There is some rubbing to the red chalk but the overall image remains legible throughout. Sold unframed. B) Window mounted to a modern paper backing which has subsequently been hinged to a modern mount. All four edges of the sheet are irregular with an old vertical crease to the lower right quarter and upper half. There are a number of old repaired tears to the extremities and some small nicks. There is evidence of surface dirt throughout and some minor staining in places. The black chalk is a little rubbed but the overall image remains legible throughout. Sold unframed. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
