Near-contemporary polished mottled calf, spine gilt in compartments, contrasting morocco lettering pieces, sides with gilt roll-tooled border, gilt edges (front cover detached, small old repair to lower joint, corners rubbed). This 7,984-lot catalogue describes the largest 18th-century collection of Italian books formed outside of Italy and is the only 18th-century French sale catalogue to be printed in a foreign language.
