Only the University of Notre Dame, Yale and two other institutions hold any copies of the short-lived periodical. As Robinson was then still an All-Star of the Brooklyn Dodgers, it’s doubtful that he had much hands-on responsibility for this magazine, though he did write article in the last issue about “What Sports can do for kids”. Executive Editor S.W.Garlington, veteran African-American journalist, newscaster and columnist for the influential New York Amsterdam News probably had more to do with the intriguing blend of articles, which included “Are the Yankees Anti-Negro?”, “Top Negro Basketball Players”, “All-American Football Preview”, “The Negro Jockey – What Happened To Him?”, King of Rodeo Cowboys”, and the first Negro Golf Club Open Tournament”.
