CARRIER., BELLEUSE.', dark brown patination, on circular moulded and stepped bronze base with plaque inscribed 'Liseuase, Par Garrier Belleuse, Grand Prix Du Salon', 60.5cm high This lot is subject to CITES Note: The design of the present figure embodies the enthusiasm for the medieval taste that was popular in France in the second half of the 19th century.
