Beschreibung:

1.437" round barrels, bordered and engraved at the muzzle. Locks engraved with martial trophies and panoplies of arms. Left engraved "Wahls", with the right marked "London". Double neck hammers with lined engraving en suite with frizzens. Finely checkered walnut butts with blank silver butt pieces and engraved silver butt caps. Plain pop-out triggers. Cased in original brass bound mahogany case with blue felt lining. Nearly all gilding on spout. This pair of flintlock boxlock pocket pistols is particularly note-worthy for their outstanding condition and casing. Condition: Condition is exemplary; both pieces retain nearly all of their bright color case hardening with strong rainbow colors in most areas. Frizzen springs all retain their bright blue and case colors, only minor light corrosion and can be wiped off. Checkering on butt is essentially new-looking. Both pistols are in identical condition. Body of the flask retains nearly all original lacquer finish, nearly all of the gilting on the spout. Flask spring retains all of the nitre blue. Bullet mold retains all original bight and vivid case coloring. Lining of box is nearly pristine. Box itself retains original varnish. For condition and quality, this set would be difficult to improve on.
