Grouping is composed of twelve sixth plate daguerreotypes, one half plate ambrotype, and two quarter plate ambrotypes, primarily housed in leather cases, with one inside of a geometric union case [Berg 3-27]. Highlights include a quarter plate ambrotype of a bearded man presented in full view at a table and holding a slim volume; a sixth plate daguerreotype of a woman with long fingers seated beside a table with books; a sixth plate daguerreotype of a young man holding a thick book and seated before a landscape backdrop; a sixth plate daguerreotype of a man in a plaid vest seated beside a table laden with books; a sixth plate daguerreotype of a man who appears to be wearing hoop earrings seated beside a table holding a book and a top hat; and the half plate ambrotype of a woman wearing a decorative hairnet seated at a table with a book, housed in a red leather case with a variant of the Lilies design.
