One of the most beautiful and rare ilustrated Venetian book of the eighteenth century of the procuratorial entrance of San Marco by Pietro Mocenigo. The sonnets are collected within a series of 28 engraved frames with various subjects and signed by Viero. This is one of the best examples of Venetian Rococo chalcography. Title-page drawned by Giovanni David at Teodoro Viero title included within fringed drape, below a relief on which Minerva shows drums and shields to the procurator. Texts within a series of 64 frames, etched, signed: Apresso Teodoro Viero Venezia. The final plate drawn and engraved by Pietro Antonio Novelli at Teodoro Viero Genius of Fame seated on the clouds, supported by geniuses. On the left, the Mocenigo coat of arms surmounted by a crown.
