(Small worm-hole to frontispiece, the first folding plate with upper blank section replaced, the 13th with old repair to upper outer blank corner, the 28th with repaired tear to lower blank margin, a few outer margins with old vertical strips pasted-on.) Contemporary vellum over pasteboard. An extraordinary work by Moretti illustrating the covered walk-way running from the gates of the city of Bologna to the church of the Blessed Virgin of Saint Luke (containing a painting of the Virgin by Saint Luke), on the Monte della Guardia. The images appear to form a continuous panorama of the walk-way with numerous shields, many bearing the arms or names of Devoti who contributed to the cost of the construction of the walkway. The total length of the panorama, if joined up, would be approximately 56 metres.
