Document signed ('Ferdinand') as King of the Romans, Vienna, 23 August 1544, a confirmation of the constitutional structures as defined by the Golden Bull, in German on vellum, one membrane, c.815 x 525mm , countersignature of Wagner, seal of Ferdinand in red wax within brown wax mount attached by metal threads (losses to lower margin of red wax seal); [ with ] a composite volume containing printed and manuscript texts, some in multiple copies, relating to the church in Spain, especially Salamanca and Segovia, including printed texts of a number of letters of Sixtus IV, late-16th Century, 91 pages, folio , paper covers.
