MP-38 / MP-40 parts kit manufactured during World War II. Components include a MP-38 pattern brown bakelite lower assembly stamped "M.P. 38/ 27/ 1940", 2 sections of an MP-38 saw-cut receiver assembly, barrel, MP-38 pattern front sight, alloy resting bar, flat magazine well housing, early MP-38 pattern bolt with curved charging handle, sling loop, crush washer, rear sight assembly, phosphate "M.P.38u.40" marked magazine, as well as as a period leather sling. CONDITION: Metal components retain varying amounts of their blue finish, with magazine well housing and saw-cut receiver components showing wear overall. Lower assembly, barrel, and bolt retains large amounts of their blue finish. Near mint mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well-defined lands and grooves throughout. Lower assembly is very good, showing some scattered handling marks and a few minor losses to the serrations on the grips, but is otherwise fine. Leather sling shows some wear overall as well as age-related cracking but otherwise appears sturdy and serviceable. A fine MP-38 parts kits that includes many desirable components. MLW
