A set design for the same-titled movie starring Marion Davies, as Polly the circus performer, and Clark Gable as Reverend John Hartley, who falls in love with and secretly marries Polly while she is recouperating at his home from a circus injury. Hartley's congregation later finds out about the marriage and fires the reverend, at which point Polly decides to leave in order for him to win back his congregation.
