Wood at no. 5 in the boat, 51mm; Henley Regatta, Wyfold Challenge Cup, a silver-gilt award medal by J. Pinches, named (Leslie W. Wood, 1912) [3]. First very fine and brightly polished, others brilliant mint state; in cases of issue £90-120 Footnote 2nd Lt Leslie William Wood, 3rd Bn South Lancashire Regt and 2nd/7th Bn Royal Warwickshire Regt, was killed in action on 19 July 1916 and is listed on the Loos memorial.
