Full vellum boards, “Soul is form” device blind-stamped on upper cover, printed on vellum, spine title gilt. Condition : boards lightly soiled. This copy number 34 of an edition of 165 all printed on vellum. Charles Ashbee founded the Essex House Press in 1898, buying the pressies from the then defunct Kelmscott Press following the death of Morris. Ashbee printed for 12 years continuing Morris's tradition of fine hand printing.
