Allen tells Spectorsky that he is too busy to contribute to Playboy and thanks him for the midget tape-recorder. -- BROOKS, Louise (1906-1985). Two typed letters signed ("Louise Brooks") to Hugh Hefner and Murray Fisher, Rochester, New York, 1965. Together 2 pages, 4to, with carbon response from Murray Fisher stapled to one letter . Regarding potential projects for the magazine. -- DAVIS, JR., Sammy (1925-1990). Two typed letters signed ("Sammy, Jr.") to Hugh Hefner, n.p., 1962. Together 2 pages, 4to, on private stationery, with carbon correspondence from Hugh Hefner. Discusses getting together with Hefner in Chicago. -- DAVIS, JR., Sammy.
