A collection of four historical documents, comprising: Indenture, 17 Edward III [1342], a receipt for a payment of 'soissant livres desterlings', in Norman French, on vellum, one membrane, 100 x 240mm , indented upper margin (stained, lacking seal); Manuscript land deed on vellum for the sale of some land in Nottingham, 12 April 1683, 220 x 550mm , 2 pendant seals, framed and glazed; List of goods belonging to Thomas Barber deceased, of Camberhall, Yorkshire, 11 November 1619, to a total of £296-14-8, together with debts of £258-15-8, on vellum, 2 membranes attached vertically, together approximately 1150 x 150mm , framed and glazed; document, 28 May 1716, a list of various 'townships' in Lancashire, together with payments due for expenses of quartering troops 'in the late Rebellion', on vellum, one membrane, 250 x 320mm .
