(Islamic Art - From a European Private Collection, 22nd July 2020) * A QAJAR POLYCHROME-ENAMELLED AND CAPARISONED GOLD PENDANT WITH FLORAL DECORATION Iran, late 19th century * A QAJAR POLYCHROME-ENAMELLED AND CAPARISONED GOLD PENDANT WITH FLORAL DECORATION PROPERTY FROM AN IMPORTANT PRIVATE EUROPEAN COLLECTOR Iran, late 19th century The pendant shaped in an arabesque-like form, one side decorated with polychrome-painted enamels in the Qajar fashion of pink and blue rosette blooms and floral bouquets, the latter side hammered and chased to depict a central rosette flanked by two birds, four strings of small pearls drooping from the pendant, one small umbrella-shaped pendant in the centre with further pearl strings, 7.3cm long. 7.3cm long
