Each work with the small stamp of the Bar Association on the verso of title. All works collate complete textually (although terminal blanks are generally missing). The first work lacks a portion of the title and has a marginal loss throughout, the third has a restoration to the blank lower corner of the title just touching the cartouche title, but in general these are sound copies (though with some toning). They have extensive neat marginalia in an Elizabethan hand (occasionally cropped). Collated, but sold as a collection with all faults. An interesting group of the Public General Acts from Elizabeth's reign, including acts pertaining to the theft of horses, informers, the gauging of vessels, sedition, the preservation of pheasants as well as true matters of state. Sold with three volumes of acts from the reign of Edward VI, and one from Mary I, all but one somewhat defective (stained, friable paper).
