EL MOROCCO] Group of menus and club ephemera , dated 1932-76, comprising approximately sixteen pieces being menus, issues of the El Morocco No News, announcements of the opening of the new season at El Morocco, etc. Each in original color printed wrappers, many designed by Jaro Fabry, two few with drawings to the versos; also included are approximately eight contemporary "zebra cards" with the signature El Morocco striped motif; Together with a rare 1938 printed book describing New York's hot spots. The spiral bound book was prepared by the Calvert Distillers and is copy number 9 from an unknown edition. It is imprinted for John Perona. The book profiles various New York restaurants and night clubs including the Rainbow Room, The Savoy Plaza, Leon & Eddie's, La Conga, and, of course, Perona's famous El Morocco. 14 x 10 inches; And Tito Puente's Cha Cha Cha at El Morocco, original vinyl record with sleeve designed by Fabry.
