Feb. 1943. 4 o, (one letter stained, folds). Einstein and Bucky considered working with the Bendix company on certain patent projects. After reviewing the contract send by the Bendix company, Einstein suggests to Bucky "to let go of this matter." Even though Einstein's involvement with the company was limited to five days per year, Einstein was concerned that he would lose his independence and that the Bendix company could "...take ideas away and then cancel the relationship..." He also didn't want his name used in advertisements. (3)
