EINSTEIN, Albert. Autograph letter signed to his son Albert, n.p., 25 November [1928], one page, 4°, a brief note from Elsa Einstein on verso. A PHILOSOPHICAL, HUMOROUS LETTER: Einstein refuses to be troubled by his circumstances -- 'I'm not going to bark at the moon like a pug'. His health is good, and the doctor has 'oracled' that his life should be back to normal after a recent setback. His scientific work, too, is proceeding well: 'The thing I found out around the time of your last visit is growing nicely. Hopefully in the future too we won't find a hair in the soup'. The letter concludes with reference to a proposed holiday, and the offer to Albert of a piano, now that he has a flat of his own.
