A collection of scarce Americana ephemera. Includes: Forbush, T.B. Florida: The Advantages and Inducements which it offers to Immigrants. Collected and Arranged by the secretary of the New England Emigrant Company. 20 pp. Wrappers. Boston: Office of The Company; No. 23 Chauncy Street, 1868. Second Edition.. Granger, Gideon. Letter and report from the Post-Master General, accompanying a list of post roads, which have not produced one third of the expence of carrying the mail on the same, after having been established two years, transmitted in pursuance of the "Act to establish the Post-Office of the United States." 8pp. plus folding table. Disbound. [Washington. ], 1801. [Indian Sheet Music]: Arizona March & Two Step. 7 detached pp. The wonderfully chromolithographed cover, by Hoen and Company of Richmond, Va., shows an Indian warrior in full battle regalia atop a charging horse. The music, for solo piano, was originally written by Emily Smith, and rewritten and arranged by E.T. Paull. OCLC locates only one copy: at Baylor University. Scarce. New York: E.T. Paull Music Co., [1903] [Jefferson, Thomas]. Message from the President...accompanying a memorial and letter from the commissioners of the city of washington, to the president...relative to the loans obtained by the said commissioners from the state of Maryland. 10,[1]pp. plus folding table. Disbound. Concerns monies owed to Maryland for property in the city of Washington. The folding table lists the number of houses in Washington as of November 1801, noting the respective number of brick and wood structures. SHAW & SHOEMAKER 3337. An unissued bond for financing the German colonization effort in Texas, as part of a proposed float of 1,600,000 gulden.
