(4 x 2 5/8 x 1 1/8 in.), contemporary vellum, covers with gilt cable and sawtooth roll with a blue wash background, covers with drawings under the vellum, the upper cover showing a cherub holding the arms of Green impaling Cotton, the lower cover showing Kirstall Abbey; smooth spine gilt-lettered on a blue wash background and divided into five compartments by blue wash and gilt bands, four of the compartments each with a repeated gilt flower tool, g.e., modern slipcase .
