The Model C-250 produced by the Thomas A. Edison Company is also known as the Diamond Disc Phonograph. Instead of using a traditional needle in the tone arm, it was replaced by a diamond bit, requiring special discs of a thicker size. The phonograph is housed in a rich mahogany cabinet with gold plated components, a decorative speaker and a lower cabinet for storing records. C. 1915. Serial no. 41404.
