Well-engraved map in two parts: the top half shows detail of the Culiacan area along the coast of western Mexico; the bottom half is of the islands of Cuba, Hispaniola, the Antilles, Bahamas, tip of Florida, etc. The latter is apparently the first printed map to concentrate on the West Indies, first issued by Ortelius in his 1579 atlas.
