Only one copy is recorded in OCLC: National Library of Scotland containing 96 plates, and only one copy has appeared at auction, sold in these rooms 15 May 2018, lot 176 (in a variant blue cloth binding with the upper cover illustration blocked in silver and with silver edges). "The accompanying reproductions, in Autotype, of rough pen and ink and water-coloured sketches, made mostly by me at various times and in various places, constitutes the first volume in a projected series of drawings representing the result of thirty-five years' travel in different parts of the world.
