Browned barrels with a bright metal finish and nonferrous metal small parts. Furniture is one piece walnut stock with fine checkering to wrist. Comes with a brass tipped wooden ramrod that does not retract fully into place. Barrels marked with gold bands at breech and at transition to round barrels with further semicurcular sunbursts and round gold dots at breech and gold dots with some edge scroll at transition point. Barrel rib is signed "DUMFRIES" within gold plate. Lockplates are unsigned but show floral scroll to cocks and locks. Touch holes are gold lined. Frizzen springs feature rollers. 1.25" drop to comb. 2.25" drop to heel. 14.75" length of pull. Condition: Good. Bores are dark with patina throughout and some oxidation near muzzle. Overall metal finish has a brown patina. Small portions of gold bands on barrels have broken free leaving a gap to the rear band and a gap to forward band. Wood to metal finish is loose surrounding lockplates with the tang protruding from stock. No cracking visible at wrist. Wood furniture has mars and dings with some additional scratches. Hammers are able to cock and release but show weak springs and fail to lock in place.
