Japanese, late 19th century. A bronze incense burner with two bowls, the smaller one functioning as a cover for the larger one, and a lid for the smaller bowl. Both bowls have small handles with rings. The larger bowl has three short feet. Ht. 4.25 in. (both bowls combined); dia. 4 in. (larger bowl). Provenance: Property of the Zanesville Museum of Art, Zanesville, OH. Sold to Benefit the Acquisition Fund.
