In 1927, the year that this work was painted, she travelled to Europe to capture the landmarks and extensively travelled. She continued throughout her career to work in a traditional style and never adopted the principles of modernism into her painting. Estimate $800-1,200 Condition: The canvas has been laid onto a backing board, likely around the time of creation. However, over time this has bubbled leaving behind a pebbled appearance on the painting surface. The paint currently looks stable although it appears to have had some previous repair.
