Two photographs: 1) Pete Conrad Alan Bean photographs the footpad of the Lunar Module 'Intrepid' 19 November 1969 Vintage chromogenic print on resin-coated Kodak paper, 20.3 x 20.3 cm (8 x 8 in), [NASA photo no AS12-46-6779] with A KODAK PAPER watermarks on the verso 2) Alan Bean The footpad of the Lunar Module 19 November 1969 Vintage chromogenic print on fibre-based Kodak paper, 25.4 x 20.3 cm (10 x8 in), NASA photo no AS12-47-6905, with NASA Kennedy Space Center caption and A KODAK PAPER watermarks on the verso Footnotes: The first image shows Bean taking close-up photographs of the LM Intrepid (not visible in the picture). Tracks leading to the lunar TV camera are visible in the foreground. Enabling live broadcast from the Moon, the camera, like many Apollo artefacts, remains on the surface. Live television coverage was unfortunately lost early in the mission when Bean accidentally pointed the TV camera at the sun during transfer from the LM. Thus the Hasselblad photographs taken by the crew are the only visual records of their lunar surface activities. The second image is one of Bean's close-up photographs of Intrepid.
