Each volume very nicely and uniformly bound for Eagar by Bernard Middleton in blue half morocco with marbled boards, gilt title and two raised bands to spines. Top edges gilt. Titles bound with original paper wrappers preserved are 'Told in the Pavilion', Alfred Cochrane, 1896. Includes a typed letter slipped in from Middleton to Eagar dated 17th July 1960 relating to the binding of this set of books, very nicely signed 'Bernard C. Middleton'. 'How's That? Including a century of Grace', Harry Furniss 1896. 'The County Cricket Championship 1873 to 1896', Rev. R.S. Holmes, 1897. 'Cricket Notes', Gilbert Jessop, 1903. 'Cricket Stories Wise and Otherwise', C.W. Alcock, 1901. 'At the Sign of the Wicket', E.B.V. Christian, 1894. 'Ranjitsinhji. Prince of Cricket', Percy Cross Standing, 1903. Also 'Willow & Leather.
