Contemporary gold-tooled flexible vellum, edges gilt (some minor staining to upper cover). Provenance : acquired from George Staack, 1962. FIRST EDITION. Each of the fine etchings shows the goddess Opportunity (Occasio), with long hair covering her face. An Italian translation appeared in the following year.
