Iron mount: appears to be in generally good condition; some evidence of minor rusting, not of any real consequence Glass: appears to be in generally good condition; top rim edge is ground flat and polished and subtly beveled, presumably as made by the factory; there is one small nick to the top rim edge, otherwise no apparent chips, fractures or hairline cracks; engraved script signature on the underside: L. Majorelle and Daum with the Cross of Lorraine; the interior of the bowl is clean, i.e., not water stained; there are four protective felt pads affixed to the iron mount on the underside; some light scratch marks to the underside, appropriate to age to usage, not of any consequence
