CRUIKSHANK, GEORGE Large group of illustrated works and two autograph letters , comprising The Comic Almanack. London: C. Tilt, later Bogue, 1835-53. 19 volumes. First editions. Printed wrappers or gilt stamped boards, housed in a fitted morocco box (one not fitting in box). Numerous plates per number, retains the four folding hand-colored plates for the years 1850-53. The spines strengthened with tissue and retitled in ink, other wear and repairs, bookplates, with three duplicate numbers (1848-49 in wrappers, 1835 lacking cover); HONE, WILLIAM. An interesting sammelband of works, London: circa 1820s, in contemporary tan calf over marbled boards, includes Facetiae and Miscellanies with the matrimonial ladder plate; Punch and Judy. London: Prowett, 1828. Second edition. Early boards, rebacked with paper. Hand-colored plates. Foxing; The Expedition of Humphrey Clinker: 1831. Half-morocco, rebacked and repaired. Plates; George Cruikshank's Fairy Library: Cinderella and the Glass Slipper. London: Bogue, [1854]. First edition, second issue. Wrappers, 6 plates; George Cruikshank's Omnibus. London: Tilt & Bogue, 1842. First edition in book form. Red morocco stamped in gilt. Plates. Dampstained, binding repaired; George Cruikshank's Table-Book. London: Punch, 1845. First edition.
