The work includes general maps showing infrastructure and topography, as well as battle maps and views. FINE CIVIL WAR PROVENANCE: Col. John J. McCook was a member of the Union Army during the Civil War, the youngest member of the "Fighting McCooks," an Ohio military family who contributed 15 members to the Union effort. McCook later became an attorney, and earned an honarary law degree from Princeton. Estimate $ 800-1,200 Provenance : Col. John J.
