cover AN EXTENSIVE COLLECTION OF STAMPLESS COVERS including Basel 1772-92 entires (4) all showing types of the circular framed "BS" h.s. in black, Bern with 1802 oval handstamp in black (Winkler 110), Freiburg with 1792 straight-line "FRYBOURG" (36), Genf with 1717 with unframed "GENEVE" (45), 1806 "Empire Francais Département Du Léman" printed entire letter with "99/GENEVE" h.s. in black, undated showing "NO.1/VERSOIX" unframed in black, others showing a variety of transit markings, Glarus with 1815-30 unframed (2) and framed "GLARUS" types, similar 1838 unframed for Mollis, Graubünden with various unframed straight-line types (similar to Winkler 1472) in blue for Brusio, Conters, Vicosoprano, Grüsch, Bergün, Castasegna, Remüs, Scanf, Andeer, Churwalden, Poschiavo, also cursive script types for Misocco and St. Vittore (in blue) and Chur (in black), Luzern with 1798 and 1799 both showing oval h.s. in red (108), 1800-12 (3) showing unframed "Lucern" or "Lucerne" types in black, Neuenburg with 1792-1829 straight-line unframed "NEUCHATEL" in black, and one 1831 framed type, also Chaux De Fonds and Locle types, St. Gallen unframed straight-line types for Gossau, Altstätten, Wallenstadt, Sevelen, St. Margrethen and several for St. Gallen, curved types for Rorschach (1728) and Altstätten, Schaffhausen , Tessin with framed "MENDRISIO", cursive "Magadino" in black (2), similar type for Leventina in red, as well as over forty covers showing the oval framed type (with National emblem) in blue or black, Thurgau 1820 unframed "STECKBORN" (1961) in black, Waadt with 1797 unframed "PAYERNE" (85) in black, early unframed types for Vevey, Coppet and Rolle, Wallis comprising 1814 unframed "SYON" (3885), 1844 oval framed "ST.
