Don Juan de Austria' (one of only three warships captured from Spain in the Spanish-American War), three with original contents (two headed with the ship's name), one letter mentions the food, life on the ship and the morale of the crew, another relates sleeping with their equipment (armed and ready for battle), Chinese rockets that they thought were a distress signal from the French Consulate, departure of the 'U.S.S.
