XU5 (opened-out) to France, bearing 1863-71 12c. and 24c. (both applied over top edge of cover) sharing light "S1" obliterator in blue; 1874 long legal XU5 (242x122mm.) to Hong Kong, marked "under 12oz." , bearing 1863-71 6c. pair and wing-margin single neatly tied by two strikes of "S1" obliterator in blue; 1889-1903 XU5 (4) to England, franked at 7c., 10c. and 12c. (2) cancelled by c.d.s.; 1908 XU5 registered to U.S.A., bearing 10c. vertical pair and 1909 10c. registered XU5 to Vienna bearing additional 10c., both cancelled by oval Registered d.s. (Type R4) and showing boxed registration cachet (Type R5); also 1911 XU5 to England, bearing China 1c. (5), 2c. (4) and 3c. (3), all cancelled by Hong Kong c.d.s. and showing framed "Paquebot" h.s. (Hosking 1484) with French Shanghai transit c.d.s., one stamp has been removed and replaced.
