United States 3c. rose postal stationery envelope (part of reverse flap missing and a couple of areas of wear on face) addressed to Natchez, Mississippi, bearing British Honduras 1865 1d. pale blue strip of four cancelled by "A06" duplex, the 3c. impression is apparently indistinctly cancelled by cork type h.s.; the strip has additionally been tied by "NEW ORLEANS" transit c.d.s. and by oval framed "STEAMSHIP" h.s., circular framed "DUE/7" adjacent and reverse showing "BELIZE" c.d.s. (12.1) and oval framed "JA S M. PUTNAM/GENERAL COMMISSION/MERCHANT" h.s. in greenish blue. Accompanying the cover is a portion of the original letter showing the location of the sender as "Camp Ben Lomond, Lake Manatle" . A spectacular franking
