CORVINUS PRESS: 1- Hart, Capt. B. H. Liddell; Storrs, Sir Ronald: Lawrence of Arabia. 1936, Number 71 of the copies numbered 56 to 125 signed by both Liddell Hart and Ronald Storrs on Barcham Green Medway paper of a total edition of 128. This copy, is also inscribed “for Mr. Wells, Who had so much to do with the starting of the Corvinus Press, From Carlow” (In 1936 Viscount Carlow founded the Corvinus Press in London, with the intention of producing books “beautiful beyond all those yet, produced”. Half-canvas, gilt, with brown Japanese paper boards by Sangorski and Sutcliffe; No dust jacket or slipcase; 2- De la Mare, Walter: Poems. Privately Printed by Lord Carlow (founder of the Corvinus Press) as Christmas presents for his, friends, [1937]. One of “a few” [40]; This copy for Wells (in ink). Canvas backed boards and glassine dust jacket (which is torn with small loss); 3- An Xmas Miscellany. Engraved by Viscount Carlow, 1936. Numbered and inscribed in ink by Carlow:”, #9; Mr. Wells, late, but I hope, better than never” Canvas backed boards and glassine dust jacket (torn, with small loss). (3)
