CORONELLI, Vincenzo Maria (1650-1718). La Brenta, quasi borgo della citta di Venezia, luogo di delizie de' Veneti patrizi. In continuoanza dell' Atlante Veneto. Venice: [circa 1709]. Large oblong 4° (260 x 340mm). Engraved throughout. Allegorical fronispiece 'Gli Argonauti', half-title, title, 17 divisional titles, dedication, portrait of the dedicatee Prince Subieski, two folding maps of Venice, 4 maps of Padua (1 folding), 134 views of palazzi and other buildings in Venice, Padua and the surrounding area. (The folding map of Padua repaired at the inner margin.) Contemporary vellum (later endpapers). A fine series of views of palaces in the Brentano, including those at Venice, Padua, Oriago, Gambarare, Mira, Fiesso, Stra, Zermanza, Noventa, Montselice, and Este. This work is the third volume of Coronelli's Singolarità di Venezia (see lot 273), of which ten volumes were planned but only three volumes produced. Despite the statement in the title 'in continuoanza dell' Atlante Veneto', this work and its companion volumes were conceived separately from Coronelli's Atlante Veneto . Cf. Berlin Kat. 2680; cf.
