Contemporary calf (rebacked, corners restored). A rare composite Coronelli atlas, combining maps, plans, bird's eye views and elevations from his Isole Britanniche , part of the Teatro della Guerra (1706-7), with those of Oxford and Cambridge and their universities, the plans of Oxford after David Loggan's Oxonia Illustrata , 1675), with two views of the interior of the Bodleian Library. The British Library holds a copy of the Isole , containing 80 leaves of plates. The map of London, cited in Howgego (no. 37), was published in Coronelli's Citta, fortezze, isole, e porti principali dell'Europa (1689).
